Kyabram Plaza Theatre is both a Cinema and a Live Theatre
The Goulburn Valley Regional Performing Arts Centre operating as the Plaza Theatre was first opened in 1929 as a cinema, theatre, playhouse and dance palais. Films were screened until 1968. In 1988 under the direction of Mr Dennis Irving the theatre was transformed from a ground floor and dress circle to a raked seating theatre with a fully fitted fly tower seating 431 patrons.
